Bachir Halimi, a man of Algerian origins, born in the city of Souk Ahras, raised in a remote village by illiterate parents. Despite all what seems to be difficulties, the professor Bachir stated in so many interviews that he found the right support from his parents and he found the need for the innovation at early ages in his village. Today Bachir Halimi made it to be a successful business man. He has a lot of achievements, and we mention of those his ability to introduce the Arabic Language to the computer systems, and this by keeping the language as it is without having to change in it as some previous researchers were trying to do.

    The professor is proud of his achievement. He stated in previous interviews that his main motivation for starting it was that he used to write letters to his supportive parents, and he wanted to be able to do it with a computer. Thus, he was able to invent a program that won the interests of Microsoft, and he mentioned on most of the interviews that what made him proud wasn’t the terms, the conditions, or the money he got after giving the license to Microsoft, but what interested him the most was to see Microsoft adapt an idea that he had and implemented into their products to be used later by millions of people.

    Bachir Halimi, a genius, successful serial entrepreneur today, has stated in most of his television interviews that his success is the result of his continuous efforts studying and taking it seriously. He also told his story, which he was famous for in Algeria, about the day he passed the baccalaureate exam in one of the Algerian secondary schools, specifically in the city of Annaba, he could notice a mistake on how one of the physics exam questions was formulated, He corrected the error, and answer according to the correct question formulation that he, himself made. This matter was studied and later communicated to the community through television which got this brilliant pupil at that time to meet the President of the Republic to recognize his wit and intelligence. Within the same Baccalaureate Exam, the professor excelled in obtaining his degree and with distinction, which enabled him to obtain a scholarship to complete his studies in Canada.

     Bachir Halimi through his journey of challenges, dedication, and hard work, he made it to have a rich presume:
– President & CEO of Speech Mobility: that is a telecom software which builds telecom products that make business communications smart, mobile and safe on the road. (2012-Current Date).
– President & Founder of Excendia: A company that developed the virtual assistant powering the Evatel cloud phone system. He precisely designed and developed a hosted speech-enabled virtual assistant solution for IP telephony systems (2001-2016).
– Co-President &CTO of Elix: Established the technology vision and run the product development and management (2000-2001).
– President & Founder of: MediaSoft Telecom Inc. A voice toolkit vendor. He Started and run the company, built the Voice Toolkit products and merged them into Elix (1975-1984).

    “…Dream and make your dreams reality, which should be the main and only motivation to go and build your project.” These were the words he spoke to his audience of TEDX Talk, and he also precised that all his efforts were made for his personal satisfaction which was brought by simple things like helping people, to see his ideas implemented, or simply for the smile of his mother. The professor told his audience that: “The minute you think this is an idea to make money! You are lost, and you aren’t going to make money”. The professor Bachir Halimi also told his childhood stories, about the time were he had innovative ideas that made him a business boy making at a day , a farmer’s month salary . This to say never ignore your ideas, and the ones of your surroundings even at a young age, and remember to “…Believe in yourself, everything is possible, opportunities are going to be on your way more often than you think. Stop them, grab them, and act on them.”
