Your branding is your identification from other practices, and services. If you have something to present to the market, you must have a brand to represent who you are, and the perspective you want your costumers to have about you. Your branding will let your clients know what to expect from you. The image you give is your attention grabbing, and professional profile.

Each brand needs an identity. The brand identity is what makes us easily recognize the brand through its logo or a punch line. For example, Nike is what we think of as soon as we read or hear the “Just Do It. “

The identity of a brand needs an image. The image is how your brand is perceived and it sets the costumers expectations.  BMW cars for example, it symbolizes luxury and power. In costumers mind, having a BMW car is a sign of their success, and will raise their status in the society.

If you want to differentiate your brand, you will need a different positioning in the market. There are many approaches to position your brand; it could be positioned based on quality, on price, on its popularity, or even uniqueness. Tesla cars for example are positioned as “the new technology for clean energy”, and this makes it the only brand providing only luxury electric cars.

We recognize strong human personalities by its traits, and so we do with the brands. Brands also stands out with their personalities. For example when we say sophistication, we might think Apple! If we say excitement, then Nike, RedBull, and other bands appears to us.

Your clients will live your brand through their experience, so why not make it different. The experience of a client is from the moment he purchases the brand to the moment he uses it. Some brands have unique ways of making you live a unique experience at their stores, or while delivering your order.

You need to communicate what you are and what you have to offer. If you make certain promises, make sure not to end up with a branding gap, but instead, think of brand extension because why not?  Google did it! It started as a research engine, gained market intelligence, and is now offering other services.

Branding requires strategies, skills, and investment, but the essential source of a good branding is to unleash your creativity and to think big with no limits.
